Mengkonsumsi Makanan Halal Perspektif Alqu’ran Upaya Menemukan Makna Makanan Halal (Kajian Dengan Pendekatan Teori Fungsi Interpretasi Jorge J.E. Gracia)
Halal is a concept of Islamic religious principles, which is used to state that something is permitted or forbidden to be consumed by Muslims on the basis of the Qur'an, hadith, or ijtihad (ulama deal). The kosher concept is given a high appreciation because halal products are considered as healthier, cleaner, and more delicious products. This kosher concept is not only popular among Muslims but also in the world community in general and is beginning to be applied to various types of products such as on food, beverage, medicine, toiletries, cosmetics, and even on the application of financial science. The order to use only halal and unlawful items for Muslims has been clearly stated in the holy book of the Qur'an and hadith. However, in the aspects of understanding the halal-thayyib which is clear from the verses of the Qur'an and the hadith of the prophet, there is a different way of view in understanding a verse about halal-thayyib, will eventually lead to different perceptions. Including also, another way of approach, although the Qur'anic verses studied are the same, it will have implications on the understanding and meaning of the content of the Qur'an is different. Based on the above background, what will be written in this paper is, how the perspective of the Qur'an about consuming halal products with the approach to the theory of Gracia interpretation function ?.
From the study and analysis that have been written in this paper, some findings can be expressed, among others: that the meaning of halal-thayyib in its historical perspective is more based on eroding from the Muslims so as not to consume unlawful and unclean products / food, then move on food is halal-thayyib. Whereas in its development, the meaning and concept of halal-thayyib is institutionalized in Islamic fiqh treasures, not only in food areas (consumptive), but has already spoken to the broader realms. Until the end, the implications of the meaning and concept of halal-thayyib contained in the Qur'an and hadith are the ideal lifestyle that must be maintained and performed by every human being, so that his life is more valuable and more human.
